Caribbean Coast 🌴💚

Great tips for visiting Costa Rica during the greenest season of them all 🌴🌱💚. We’ve noticed that many of you haven’t considered visiting the Caribbean coast and we thought we would d share three destinations that we absolutely recommend and that have great weather from now on until November:

No. 1️⃣ 👉 Playa Chiquita in Limón. The whole Caribbean vibes around Puerto Viejo are the most epic, because nature here is really quite untouched. You kinda feel like the palm trees and plants are going to absorb the ocean, somehow. Yet there’s still some room for you and your crew. Also, the water is turquoise and clear, and the sand is the prettiest shade of light gold.

No. 2️⃣ 👉Tortuguero in Limón. Did you know that you can only arrive in Tortuguero by boat? It’s a whole ‘nother level of experience. Once you visit Tortuguero’s mangroves, it hits you that you’ve never *really* been immersed in nature on this level. It literally takes your breath away. Also, you get to experience a level of peace that you didn’t know existed (or at least I did).

No. 3️⃣ 👉Sarapiquí in Heredia. This is probably the one you’ve heard the least, but I think it’s an undiscovered treasure. It’s just off the Braulio Carrillo National Park, so it’s no surprise the amount of flora and fauna that surrounds it. Actually, it’s a favorite amongst birdwatchers. Also, it’s a great place to visit if you’re a fan of adventure: they’ve got river rafting, canopies (like really immersed in the jungle kinda canopy), hiking…
